I chose multiple color ribbons to place in a strip setting with lots of colorful patches. I still want to complete the Cancer Ribbon Quilt for the month of May (check out the first post) to donate soon. It needs quilted and binding added. What color would you choose for the binding to frame it up nicely?

That is a lovely quilt, Anita. I think your outer border frames it nicely and would probably make my binding from the same fabric...I tend to be conservative when it comes to binding though.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the suggestion. I do like the border fabric A lot! And the backing is a lovely array of colorful doves~ Should go very nicely!
DeleteIf you have ,ore of the multi color print I would probably use that or black for the binding, personally. :) Looking great!
ReplyDeleteI have a multiple color dove print for the backing, The black sounds like the best option to go so far~
DeleteI also think the border print would be perfect.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your goal, sounds do able and for a good cause.
ReplyDeleteGreat quilt. Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal and good luck on your project.

DeleteSuch a wonderful goal! I like the idea of a rainbow or multi colored binding, or possibly black. You can do this! Thanks for linking up to Wednesday Wait Loss!
