Christmas in .... June~

From Dec 21, 2016  until June 20, 2017 Pat Sloan hosted a 25 block sampler she named the Winter Solstice. I joined her and Many other sewists in a journey. I am so tickled with the Christmas vibes I get from my completed top!

I used a small stack of Lynette Anderson Designs Fabric from RJR Fabrics called Festive Fun. Very Festive indeed, look at the details in her drawings on the fabrics!

There are snowmen, Santas, puppies and kittens, mistletoe and holly. See the line and a few of Lynette's projects with Festive Fun Here.

For the 2.5" blocks I used all scrap so it was fun to see how the final look turned out. I adore the little French lady. And the daisies made an appearance some how in the lighter blocks. So whimsical and I adore it!

The "Precious Fabric" star was my favorite of all the blocks even though I chose to use a bold red instead of a precious fabric.

You can create your own Winter Solstice, find all the patterns and setting at Pat's Blog. They are Free! And Fun! Share your projects with her!
