Coming UP!!!! White Rabbit Blog Hop Challenge! Tidy Up & A Give-Away!

I'M BUMPING THIS POST TO SEE IF WE CAN GET SOME TRAFFIC WITH OUR BLOG HOPS! AS A BLOGGER, I'M FINDING THAT MORE AND MORE PEOPLE ARE NOT SEEING OUR POSTS. LET'S GO SUPPORT EACH OTHER! I'VE ADDED A COUPLE OF PHOTOS OF INTEREST TO CAPTURE SOME ATTENTION. THANKS FOR STOPPING BY!

In anticipation of the upcoming challenge of "White Rabbit" and starting a fresh New Year in the sewing studio, I did some organizing and cleaning the machines. As I work away from home, the sewing station makes a new home quite regularly! The set up has currently taken up residence at our fishing shack in Florida. Since I have a much larger machine, I was considering selling off the Brother SE-270D Disney Edition. What do you all think? Would you? It would definitely make more room!

I'm also joining Pat Sloan in her Tidy Up Challenge over the next few days as well. #quilterpatsloan - listen to her video at YouTube to find out the challenge. Personally, I've put away all the cutoffs in a scrap container for today's challenge. I need the photos to document.

Sharing with you a "before" photo. The credenza the machines are resting on is from Badcock Furniture. They currently have a contest to win a $500 shopping spree when you sign up for texts and emails.

This set up is particularly difficult for sewing because there is no leg room, although it is a great, sturdy platform for embroidery. Note the mats sitting under the machines? They help reduce vibration in your machine, reduces noise and prevents scratches to surfaces the machines are sitting on. My favorite feature is the noise reduction.

The cart is chock full of necessities, I think we all like to gander at what others have in their spaces. Yes, it's a mess - a functional mess. I use coffee mugs as containers and a little mason jar to hold clippings and trims. I use those later to stuff little toys for the grandkids or the dog.
I found this basket at a vintage market and it was way too cute to pass up. Only $2.00. Yes, Please! It adorably holds up some beautiful rolled up fabrics.

Have a blessed day and come back to check us out. I'll be having a give - away of some sort!

And to celebrate Cleaning out the Studio I'll be sending off some things I'm not using: For a Chance to Win a pattern created by Toni Smith of Quiltoni, who knows, I may throw in something else as a surprise- Please leave me a comment - 1.Would you sell one of your sewing machines to make room for new and improved editions? AND 2. Follow me HERE on Instagram. Contest open until Grand Opening Day of White Rabbit Blog Hop Challenge!

Tidying up... well... I try - it will be fun to see how you handle the challenge. I am not sure about selling machines - I only have two - so I'm not sure....
