I've been taking the scrap basket and using up much of the tidbits to create pot holders as gifts for the holidays. Just add a couple of measuring or stirring spoons with a recipe card tuck in and the gift set is complete!

ReplyDeleteI love making pot holders. I recycle towels with insulbrite for my batting. They are a thicker pot holder, but so nice!!

I use the potholders my husband's grandmother made...she made so many that her daughter, my beloved mother-in-law, was able to give us a new one for Christmas for several years. They are loved and cherished, but they certainly aren't the works of art that yours are!!
